Why Volunteering with The Scouts is empathy in action.

Volunteering makes you happier and more empathetic.

The Scots said that empathy helps us to relate to others, work in teams and is the cornerstone of a healthy society. Empathy doenst only keep us connected to one another but also inspires us to help others.

9 in 10 British adults believe The Scouts develop empathy.*

Matt Jones, District Commissioner, said "The Scouts helps young people and adult volunteers become happier and healthier and I would recommend volunteering with The Scouts to anyone! If you're interested email us at join@birkenheadscouts.org.uk to see how you can get involved."
