The Hiking Challenges

There are two parts to the challenge, just like on regular Challenge Hike, there is the walking part and then there are the challenges.

The Walking / Hiking

We need you to pop on some appropriate footwear for this challenge, that could be be your hiking boots or it could be your favourite comfy slippers depending on where you are going to hike! 

To take part in the challenge you will need something (or someone) to count your steps - smart watch, fit bit or similar or a mobile phone (most have a step count feature now). 

Scouts, to make this challenge feel more like the real Challenge Hike, we would love to see you complete your challenge carrying your day sack with usual kit. The Kit list can be found here

Walk as many steps as you can and submit your step count every 2 hours starting from 9am using the form below. Throught the day, we will broadcast live to give an update on who has walked the furthest and how well people are doing with the challenges (see the live events section below).

We will be starting with flag break (sorry Scouts, we won't be making your breakfast) and will then lead on to the details of your challenges.
