The Legal Year begins each year in October and a very special Service is held at the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool to mark its commencement. The Service is attended by judges, civic leaders, representatives of all aspects of the justice system, the emergency services, the armed forces, the professions and the consulates etc. Robes and uniforms are worn. This year we have prioritised extending this to representatives of key community groups from across Merseyside who make an incredible impact and positively affect so many lives across our County.
